Jack Burrell is one of the counselors arriving at Camp Crystal Lake alongside Ned, Bill, Marcie, Brenda, and Alice. The group works to refurbish the cabins and prepare for incoming campers under the direction of owner Steve Christy. During a thunderstorm, while Jack and Marcie are having sex, they are unaware of Ned's dead body above them in the bunk bed. After Marcie leaves the cabin for the public bathroom, the killer pierces Jack's throat with an arrow, killing him. His body is later found by Alice pinned to a door with arrows.

In Their Own Story

Jack Burrell arrives at Camp Crystal Lake with the other counselors to help reopen the camp. As a thunderstorm approaches, Jack and Marcie sneak away for a private moment in a cabin. While they are together, Ned's dead body lies above them in the bunk bed, unnoticed. When Marcie leaves to use the public bathroom, the killer strikes, piercing Jack's throat with an arrow. Alice later discovers Jack's body pinned to a door with arrows, confirming his death.
